Wild Game Dinner Provides Funding for 100 Club
Mar 21st, 2017

St. Lucie County, Fl – At a recent event, the management team from Southern Eagle Distributing and the Peter W. Busch Family Foundation presented the Hundred Club of St. Lucie County with a check for $10,000.  The money represents part of the proceeds from the 5th Annual Wild Game Dinner held at Adams Ranch.

The Hundred Club is celebrating their 30th Anniversary in St. Lucie County.  It was created to provide direct financial help for spouses and dependents of law enforcement officers and firefighters who have lost their lives or become disabled in the line of duty. Their goal is to recruit 500 new members this year to support the organization.

This is the second year in a row that the PWBFF has donated to the Club.  “We are honored to support the Hundred Club,” stated Philip Busch, President of the Peter W. Busch Family Foundation and Southern Eagle Distributing. “These men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect us.  On behalf of everyone who benefits from the work you do, THANK YOU!”

The Peter W. Busch Family Foundation was formed over 30 years ago in Ft Pierce.  Peter W. Busch believes in supporting initiatives that improve the quality of health, education and family in his community, as well as, the preservation of Florida’s indigenous animals and landscape.  Peter’s belief has been that “we all must give back to the very people who help keep us in business and survive.”

Since 1984, Peter has owned Southern Eagle Distributing, the local Anheuser-Busch distributor, and has made enormous strides in providing for charitable causes. Aside from all that he has contributed, citizens within our community view Mr. Busch and his family are ultimate givers, not only of monetary/beverage donations, but of their time, hearts and minds.

In addition to the St. Lucie County 100 Club, Southern Eagle is proud to support local charities and non-profits including the Treasure Coast Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, YMCA of the Treasure Coast, CASTLE, Busch Wildlife Center, Navy SEAL Museum and others.
